Getting ISO Certificate is a five-step process:
Step 1: Application
The Client must submit an application to the certifying body. The application includes the provision of business details, which will be used for issuing the certificate.
Step 2: Document Review
A consultant will review the quality management system documentation and prepare an evaluation report according to the ISO Quality Management System Standard requirements.
Step 3: Inspection & Audits
Certification Body will conduct an inspection visit to the Organization. Audits are held by the Client's Management representative for evaluating the organization's QMS.
Step 4: Certification Decision
The certification body will issue a formal certificate after verifying that the organization meets the requirements of the standard and confirming all deliverables have been fulfilled.
Step 5: Registration & Maintenance
To maintain the ISO Certification, the organization has to complete a registration review on a yearly or tri-yearly basis by attaining a surveillance audit. The information gathered from this will be used as input for your next certification audit.
